strategic and futuristic thinker who is passionate about leadership and creating high performance teams.
Mike’s professional career started as a high school social studies teacher. As a teacher, Mike learned about how people are motivated and how they learn. After four years of teaching, Mike moved on to lead the business functions of a vibrant and growing church where he became a practitioner of organizational culture-making, vision and strategy development and leadership. Mike loves learning and has an unique ability to learn about various organizational topics, take the best concepts, and boil them down to very practical applications.
Mike started Sagency because of his conviction that healthy and growing leaders and organizations can improve lives and really make an impact in the world. Mike has a passion to help leaders be better and loves working with leaders who want to experience healthy growth and maximize their impact.
